Raekwon f/ Big B, CL Smooth & Sauce Money - “Silk” (Mixtape, 2012)

I wrote about the first great Raekwon song in a while over at MTV Hive. On it Rae brags about Wellie Fargo-ing a Gallardo jet red, thereby doubling down on Young Dro’s tendency to both metaphor his car colors and to verb out his metaphors. Dro has long been very vocal about his love of Cuban Linx, making this one of those student/master role reversals that RZA’s always talking about. Bong bong.
